Couch Conversations & Consulting, PLLC
As a therapist, my goal is to embody the positive impact and enrichment that therapy can bring to one's mental well-being. Through my work, I strive to be a living testament to the transformative power of therapy in enhancing overall mental health. By creating an accessible, inclusive, safe, supportive collaborative and authentic space for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions, I aim to help them navigate life's challenges and cultivate resilience. Ultimately, I aspire for my practice to inspire others to prioritize their mental health and seek the therapeutic support they deserve.
The Tapestry of Couch Conversations
Accessible
At Couch Conversations Counseling & Consulting, I am dedicated to providing fully online and accessible counseling services tailored to meet the mental health needs of my clients. My telehealth services are designed for individuals who are seeking a compassionate, positive, empowering, and collaborative therapy experience as they journey towards healing and restoration.
This concept emphasizes removing barriers that may hinder someone from seeking or receiving mental health care. Whether it involves financial constraints, geographical limitations, cultural differences, or stigmas surrounding mental health, striving for accessibility means fostering a more inclusive and understanding environment where everyone has the opportunity to prioritize their mental health without facing unnecessary obstacles.
Ultimately, prioritizing accessibility in mental health is about recognizing the diverse needs of individuals and working towards creating a system that is responsive, approachable, accommodating, inclusive, individualized and meaningful to all.
Collaborative
As a therapist, my approach centers on meeting clients where they are in their journey, valuing their individuality and unique experiences. I believe in co-creating a supportive and inclusive space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges. By tailoring therapy to fit each client's specific needs, I aim to cultivate a collaborative relationship built on empathy, respect, compassion, and genuine curiosity. My therapeutic style blends directness with relaxation, relatability with compassion, and humor to foster a comfortable and productive atmosphere for growth and self-exploration.
“We need to know with a fresh conviction that we all share a common humanity and that our diversity in the world is strength for our future together.”
Nelson Mandela
Inclusive
As a BIOPC therapist, my commitment to supporting more BIPOC clients in seeking mental health counseling runs deep. At Couch Conversations, I strive to provide a sanctuary that is safe, welcoming, affirming, and inclusive. Here, individuals can shed their masks, communicate in their authentic vernacular without the pressure of code-switching or assimilation. Employing an anti-oppressive, anti-racist approach in my practice, I engage with individuals, couples and groups navigating trauma and relationship challenges. During therapy sessions, I delve into attachment work, identity exploration, and cultural discussions, creating a space for clients to explore aspects of themselves often left unattended. I believe therapy should be a nurturing environment where individuals feel listened to, respected, and encouraged to express and embrace their uniqueness and authenticity freely.
I view therapy as a safe and empowering space where one feels heard, valued and free to express and celebrate one's uniqueness and authenticity.

Everyone is valued, encourage, important, respected and welcome at Couch Conversations.
As someone with a disability, I am acutely aware of the myriad difficulties that life presents. My primary goal is to provide clients with a profound sense of empathy and encouragement as they navigate the complexities of their own obstacles and adversities.
My own experience with therapy helped me adjust to the new normal and during my experience I discovered new facets of myself that enriched my life's tapestry and gave me the fortitude to push forward. I have developed an appreciation that every person has a purpose, uniqueness, and value, no matter what hurdles they may face.
